Well it turns out to be pretty simple: Strawberries, Banana, Ice & Milk with Acai concentrate added. [*I later learned there are other times when they use water instead of milk.] They offer 2 sizes – 16 oz or 32 oz for $4/$5 respectively plus tax.

– A refreshing acai berry flavor with notes of strawberry and a hint of citrus. The perfect fusion of fresh fruits that will definitely awaken your taste buds.

– Acai Berry Juice puree, Water, Concentrated Fruit Juices (Apple, Grapefruit, Orange), Natural Flavors , Citric Acid, Caffeine from Coffee Bean Extract , Gelling Agent (Pectin), Agave Syrup Extract , Calcium Lactate from Beets . Less than 0.5% of : Xanthan Gum, Beetroot Red Color , Malic Acid.

All you’ll need is some strawberries, a banana, and an acai pack (100g).

Recipe:

80-110g Fresh Strawberries

1/2 Banana *optional*

Ice to taste – optional – blend everything together – Blend until smooth – Pour over ice – Enjoy!

Notes: You can use more or less of any ingredient depending on your personal preferences. Also the banana is only a suggested addition if you want a thicker consistency for this drink. If you don’t have an acai pack I would recommend just using about 80-110g of fresh strawberries instead. When I made mine, I used 100g of fresh strawberries, which was perfect for me because it gave me a thick consistency.

The Starbucks Strawberry Acai Refresher is made of a combination of light ice, whole blackberries, a splash of apple juice ,and acai syrup infused with strawberry puree. The drink itself is 100% fruit juice.

5-10% of purees and concentrates from strawberries, an acai berry, banana and a red guava.

This is a 90% ice drink with 10% fruit juice which on the label reads “Made with purified water, sugar, 15% strawberry puree concentrate [strawberry juice concentrate, strawberries], natural flavour [strawberry flavour], natural colours (caramel colour CI 77492), strawberry juice concentrate [strawberry extract], acidity regulator (citric acid).”, some sucralose and Acesulfame K.

How to make strawberry acai refresh?

For one person you will need:

– a cup of frozen strawberries

– a tablespoon of acai powder

– a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup (or to taste)

*optional – some ice cubes, if the berries are not frozen.

In a blender add all ingredients and blend until smoothie consistency is reached. Pour into glass and serve immediately. Swirl with a spoon if necessary to get that thick texture! You can keep it in the fridge for up to two days, but do remember to take it out 5 minutes before serving so it isn’t too cold on your tongue. If you want an even thicker texture but without any additional calories try using greek yogurt instead of milk/almond milk/
