Why did Kakashi kill Rin?

There is much speculation as to why did Kakashi kill Rin. Some say it was his anger and Kaguya’s control over him that made him do it, some say he did it for the Greater Good, and others believe he just couldn’t handle the guilt any longer.

No one can know for sure what was going through Kakashi’s mind when he killed Rin, but we can analyze all of the evidence and come to our own conclusions. This is what I will be doing in this blog post.

Why did Kakashi kill Rin?

Why did Kakashi kill Rin?

It started by an anonymous user on /a/ making a post like this:

What if Rin really didn’t die and was saved by Obito’s father? What would Kakashi lose?

At first, people disucssed about the consequences of such thing. Then, users mentionned that maybe they killed Rin to make Obito join Madara and become akatsuki’s member (remember that Kakashi said that Rin died because her teammates where weak). They also added that it wasn’t important how it happened, what was important is WHY they did it.

And why they did do it?? Well there are different theories: – It was an order from their sensei (Kakashi) so he would have an excuse to leave the village and become a Jounin. – It was an order from Danzo to have another ninja in his pocket.

– They did it for “the greater good”, so they could get Kakashi stronger, even if it meant one of them should die. Some say that Obito’s father saved Rin because he saw how strong Obito was becoming.

Rin might have been killed by Zetsu intercepting Obito during the mission (he doesn’t like anybody who might discover him spying or stealing information) or Madara seeing her potential for Konoha (and/or wanting to keep her away from Akatsuki).

How did Rin kill herself?

How did Rin kill herself?
How did Rin kill herself?

She drowned herself in the bathtub. There was water in her lungs when she died, so it must have been done there. But this is only based on deduction; there’s no solid evidence pointing to this fact. The bathtub where she killed herself remains unknown even today, just like how it had been 7 years ago during Rin’s life.

The reason why nobody knew about the exact spot where Rin had killed herself was because of Miyazono Kaori, who was at that time attending a hospital in another prefecture for treatment. She somehow heard about what happened to Rin and immediately rushed home without even telling her doctor… but by the time she came back, all traces of Rin had disappeared from their house—the police had already taken her body away somewhere.

The police officers at the scene didn’t know exactly who called them. They only knew that a call about a suicide had been made from a phone booth near where they were, and that by the time they arrived there, Rin was already dead. According to Miyazono Kaori’s testimony, this is what probably happened: after Rin drowned herself in the bathtub, she stood up unsteadily and stepped out of it… then immediately collapsed onto the floor. From there on, she couldn’t move anymore—you could say that she’d become paralyzed because of all the blood rushing to her head during those final moments of consciousness.

Why did Rin have to die?

There is no one definitive answer to this question. Some fans believe that Rin had to die because she was becoming too powerful and posed a threat to Shirō’s safety. However, they remain hopelessly outmatched by their foes’ Noble Phantasms and sheer number of servants. Eventually, Shirō and Saber return to town to regroup with Rin and Archer (who has allied himself with them).
